Patong Beach는 푸켓 서해안에 위치한 가장 유명한 해변으로, 약 3km 길이의 넓은 백사장과 에메랄드빛 바다가 펼쳐져 있다. 수영, 패러세일링, 제트스키 등 다양한 해양 스포츠를 즐길 수 있으며, 해변 주변에는 쇼핑몰, 레스토랑, 마사지숍, 카페가 모여 있다. 밤에는 **방라 로드(Bangla Road)**를 중심으로 화려한 나이트라이프가 펼쳐져 푸켓 여행의 중심지로 손꼽힌다.

카나비스(Cannabis)는 초록색 단풍잎처럼 생긴 잎이 특징인 식물. 태국에서는 카나비스 관련 상점이나 일부 식당 앞에서 카나비스 표시(잎 모양 로고)를 쉽게 볼 수 있으며, 여행 중 자주 접하게 된다. 다만 이용 시에는 최신 현지 규정을 확인하는 것이 좋다.
